Gain insight from Mary about how her drive and passion led her to become Wiers’ first female Service Manager.

Our employees have been the foundation of our company and its successes since Wiers saw its start nearly 60 years ago. As we continue to grow, we are proud to see our team members do what has never been done before reaching both their personal and professional goals.

One of our employees, Mary, is doing just this. In addition to being a valued member of our team, Mary is also the first woman in the history of our company to become a Service Manager. Even more than that, she has also obtained her CDL. For Mary, these accomplishments were inevitable given her drive and commitment to the company.

ā€œI have always loved the transportation industry. I started out in manufacturing and dispatching. While that was satisfying, it wasnā€™t enough for me, I wanted to be part of a team. Thatā€™s when I found Wiers, they are more than a team, they are family,ā€ says Mary.

Once Mary found her niche at Wiers, she was able to grow and thrive here, working her way toward her current service manager position.

ā€œI knew I wanted to expand my career and go places, but never thought I would be a service manager. I have had some wonderful managers that have put their trust in me to succeed. [Being the first female in this position] was an amazing feeling – I really donā€™t know how to describe it. Wiers made a huge deal out of it, I was just overwhelmed with excitement.ā€

Wiers can count itself among the lucky when looking at its incredible team of hardworking technicians and staff, Mary among them. We thank Mary for her 5 years of hard work on the team and are very proud of her accomplishments. Hereā€™s to the next 5 years!
